Been getting on the download quite a bit recently, whether that's a good thing we'll soon see. One of best things I got was Claude VonStroke's album 'Bird Brain'. Classic minimal-techno, with a collection of bleeps, bangs and the occasional womp.

I'm listening to it in a chilled out/sat in my room all night fashion, which is cool, but a totally different experience hearing his stuff for real.

I've got the downloading 'bug' as Chris kindly named it. But to be fair, I have been raging it recently and I'm running out of internal memory. Boo hoo.

I also got my hands on Fake Bloods humble discography. It lacked volume but I think, made up for it with content. Some amazing remixes of songs such as Armand Van Helden's 'I Want Your Soul' and Dan le Sac's 'Look For The Woman'. Highly recommended to listen to.

But no, they've outdone themselves here and created a variety of tunes from tangy hip-hop to dirty dubstep.

Horsing around

It's sunny out!

But it's about 4 degrees.

Anyway, it's been exactly 1 month today that I moved into this shit flat. Im not going to tell the story again as you probably already know. And I'm sick of telling it.

Oblivious to this, I noticed my fob would not let me into Opal court for some strange reason, I thought it was just the door letting me down. Then it didn't work on the second door. Something's fishy I thought.

It had been 4 weeks as of today, and my fob stops working. Am I being kicked out, again?

Luckily someone was there to let me in.

Opal continue to amuse me.

Discovery

I found my old Game Boy Pocket I got about 10 or so years ago, it still works too! Just a couple of aaa batteries later and I was away. Pokemon yellow is currently underway, and having to start from the beginning brings back the fondest of memories.

I also 'borrowed' my brothers Game Boy Micro too, basically a really small Game Boy Advance. Pretty sweet. Think I may break out a classic - either The Sims 2 or The Urbz.

This should cure, if not put aside my extreme boredom in this horrendous flat.

What I saw in town today

was what looked like a 20-odd year old man spitting, yes spitting at a bus driver. I had assume that the bus driver had done something wrong before, like almost run this man over (as he was crossing the road). With the story in my mind I watched the man grob onto the bus drivers window and hurl insults such as prick, dick, cunt etc. If this wasn't funny enough, whilst the bus driver was getting spat on he continued to wave both hands, beckoning the man to come closer and settle the feud by physical means. The man ignored this gesture because I think he thought a fight with a scouse bus driver would no end in his favor. Good decision.

By this time half the street, including me, were stood still, staring at him. He must have felt a bit of a dick as he made a brisk departure.

Exit stage left.
